The Deliverables

The task was to design and deliver a comprehensive course that explored the evidence base for the Mediterranean diet while highlighting other cultural eating patterns with similar health-promoting characteristics. The goal was to help participants understand the health benefits, regional variations, and practical applications of diverse cultural diets. Key deliverables included developing lesson plans, curating culturally relevant recipe guides and cookbook, and leading recorded sessions featuring hands-on cooking demonstrations alongside a metabolic.  health scientist.

The Outcome

Published an online course offering 8 continuing education credits that was completed by hundreds of healthcare professionals including dietitians, doctors, and nurses. The success of this course led to additional initiatives such as partnering with a local health clinic to develop cooking videos for patient waiting rooms and creating a hands-on workshop for medical students.
